Ready for a good dose of laughter?
In Spanish, “pirarse” means “to leave.” This phrase is used when we want to announce to our friends that we are leaving. For example:
-Rita, are you coming with us to eat a Valencian paella?
-I'm sorry but I'm going crazy, vampire. My dear students are waiting for me to teach them Spanish.
This phrase is used as a response when someone tells us that they have done something incredible or wonderful and we are very surprised. For example:
-This morning, I started my Spanish classes in Hispania, Spanish school.
-What a level, Maribel! I am very happy for you, I am sure you are having a lot of fun and enjoying the Hispania experience.
When, for example, we are doing queue to enter the cinema to watch a movie in Spanish or if we are standing in line at reception for the wonderful Naoko to explain to us everything we need to know about the classes in Hispania, Spanish school but a person gets in front of us, that is, when a person sneaks in, we can say: Queue, Pepsi cola!
This way, that person will understand that they have to be last in line and wait like the others.
