Discover everything we have done this month! We held the 1st Short Story Contest in Hispania, Spanish school. This month we have carried out a very interesting cultural activity in which we encourage our students to bring out the writer within them. We organize the 1st Microrr Contest

This month we have carried out a very interesting cultural activity in which we encourage our students to bring out the writer within them. We organized our school's First Short Story Contest!

Our students have written short stories in Spanish of 100 words, set in the city of Valencia, in which they had to demonstrate their creativity, originality and knowledge of the language.

Throughout the month of October our students have been able to prepare their stories and on Friday the 26th we celebrated the awards ceremony for the contest. The prize for the winning short story could not be other than free hours of Spanish study at our school. Congratulations to the winner Mary Katherine Behan for your wonderful short story!
We are very happy with the reception that the school's First Short Story Contest has had and we will continue to organize many more activities in which our students will be able to demonstrate their enormous talent.
Prepare your cameras because the next contest will be photography! 😉

A few weeks ago our students celebrated with their teachers in the classroom the European Day of Languages. It was a very interesting day to reflect on linguistic wealth and celebrate together our passion for learning new languages. Learning a new language is one of the most enriching experiences in a person's life.
Furthermore, October has been a month of celebrations in Valencia, since the Valencian Community has two holidays on the calendar.

The first, on October 9, when Valencian Community Day is celebrated. This day commemorates the entry into the city of Valencia of King James I in 1238 and different institutional and cultural events take place in the city. In addition, October 12 was also a holiday throughout the country since Columbus Day is celebrated. This is a good opportunity for our students to learn more about the history of Spain and the Valencian Community.
We ended the month celebrating Halloween “Spanish style”, watching the play Don Juan Tenorio. It is a classic on this date by the author José Zorrilla.

After the event was held in Tenerife LET'S GO! Spanish in Spain FEDELE Workshop,Some of the participants in this event visited Hispania, a Spanish school, as part of their FAMtrip in the Valencian Community. They had the opportunity to visit our facilities and get to know our beloved school in first person, with the help of the director and other members of the team.
COME ON! Spanish in Spain FEDELE Workshop is a professional meeting between agents specialized in language tourism and FEDELE schools that has been held since 1999.

We love contact with our collaborators, great professionals who share our passion for teaching and learning languages.
Furthermore, in October we received a visit from different personalities from the world of politics and Chinese universities to get to know our school and see first-hand the wonderful city in which we are located.
We always wait for you with open arms in Valencia!

In the month of October, our students...have attended different experimental classes in the city of Valencia, visiting emblematic places such as the Central Market of Valencia or one of the main museums in the city: the Museum of Fine Arts.
They have gotten to know the city of Valencia in depth with our guided tour through the historic center of the city.

They have enjoyed the pleasant temperatures of the city with outdoor activities such as yoga classes or a bicycle tour through the large park that runs through Valencia.
They have learned a lot of Spanish with our beloved team.
And in November many activities more!
