In Hispania, Spanish school We know that the best gift we receive every day is the opportunity to meet thousands and thousands of students from different countries and cultures who visit us every year. See how they arrive in Valencia eager to learn Spanish and experience true cultural and linguistic immersion, how they advance and raise their language level while enjoying thousands of activities and different experiences, it is a great pleasure. For this reason, we have decided to get to know and make our dear students better known by talking to them about their experience in Spain and so that they can tell us their opinion about Hispania, a Spanish school.
On this occasion, we have met with Axel Bol, a student born in Bussum, a region located 25 km from Amsterdam, Netherlands. Axel arrived in Valencia when he was 18 years old and has returned now that he is 26 to repeat his stay with us. He loves law and languages, he has been playing tennis since he was 5 years old, he loves to travel, learn about different cultures, read, walk and enjoy Spanish life. Today, he came to chat with us to tell us about his experience.
The truth is that I had finished high school and I didn't know what path to take in my life. Since my brother had gone to Rome to study Italian, my parents suggested that I take a year off, to think about what to do, but as long as I dedicated it to learning something. I had always wanted to learn Spanish because I love Spain and I decided to come to Valencia.
I arrived disoriented about my future, lost and found a Spanish family. It was an unforgettable period for me because it made me mature very quickly. I was still a child and the people of Hispania, Spanish school He always helped me; especially Naoko who was like my older sister. And Cristina and Alicia, who were my teachers at that time, I consider them my friends.
My girlfriend and I have finished our degrees and we wanted to enjoy ourselves a little before starting work. Furthermore, I really wanted to repeat the experience and share it with my girlfriend. She is learning Spanish very quickly and I am remembering and improving too. Valencia is fantastic because it has a beach and Hispania, Spanish school It is the best school in the world.
Yes, when I arrived it was a small school that had only one chalet, I knew everyone and everyone knew me. Now, it has grown a lot, there are more buildings, classrooms and teachers but I still feel like family. It still maintains that essence of home but with more options.
Valencia is a perfect city for a student because it offers a large number of cultural and leisure activities, it has a magnificent climate, many services and it is very easy to get around. What do you like most about this city?I love the Turia River Gardens; walk with my girlfriend, talk about everything, read a book, have a beer or just sit and watch people go by.
And also the Boatella restaurant, which is next to the Central Market. It is a very authentic place, the waiters are very friendly and the tapas are unbeatable. You may need to wait a little for a table but it's definitely worth it.
Any corner of the chalet because it brings back many memories of the past. There I took my first Spanish classes, I made new friends with whom I still keep in touch and it also has an incredible terrace where I like to go sometimes to read and sunbathe.

For my friends I am the student. They are already working and I am finishing my second master's degree. The thing is, I love studying and if I had the opportunity, I would study all my life.
Well, the truth is that I already recommend this school. In fact, I have brought 5 people from Holland so that they can live the same experience that I had.
I recommend it because in class you feel among friends, you meet people from many different cultures and you can learn the stories and customs of Africa, Asia, America and Europe while learning a new language. Also, the teachers are all great and the truth is that I have never had a teacher who made me feel uncomfortable or bored. They always take the time to explain what you don't understand, clear up any doubts and make you feel comfortable at all times. They make you feel able to speak, to make mistakes and to learn from all of it.
I think you have attended one of the activities what the school offers, what do you think?Yes, I have participated in several activities and I really liked them. For example, we went for a boat ride through the Albufera and Gabi told us everything about this natural park. Afterwards we went to eat a Valencian paella and black rice at the El Palmar restaurant with other students and it was delicious. Plus, I love learning new things about Valencia and Gabi knows so much! Likewise, during the Fallas, we walked around the city and he explained many details about the festivities to us. It was very fun and interesting!
Any Rocky Balboa movie. I love movies with action and this one is about a boy who has nothing, he is a loser but with effort he gets the title of the best boxer in the world. I like that he never throws in the towel and shows us that it is possible to achieve our dreams.
As a child I wanted to be an airplane pilot but now I think I could do anything related to writing. I love languages and I am a great reader. When I am in front of a book I not only see the story, but also the style, how well written it is, so I think that if I were not a lawyer, I would be a writer.
